Choosing the One for You…

Submitted by Traci on February 14, 2010 – 5:31 amOne Comment

I’d like to start this off with a question…Okay a few questions…Stay with me though, okay?

What do you consider to be your most prized possession? What is that one thing you value more than anything in the world? When you think of what it is, think about this…What would it take for you to give that away to someone – anyone?   Would you want them to bargain for it?  Would you want them to work for it?  Would you want to give it to someone that would take as good of care of it as you would?

These are all the questions you should consider when making decisions on whether or not to have a certain someone in your life; the person you are going to open your heart to.

Anything that is of importance to you should be treated with care…both by YOU and any others you allow the privilege to handle it. This includes your heart.

Have you had discussions with an adult about what an appropriate dating age is? Are you already dating someone? Have you been thinking that there’s a guy that you like and you want to get to know him better? The ages vary for when a girl decides to give a boy the title of “boyfriend”, and in matters of the ♥heart♥, the right choices are not always made because a girl may enter into a relationship too early, exclusively sharing her space with someone before she is ready. You should always assess the situation before leaping into anything serious. Make sure you are choosing someone that has your best interests at heart. Someone that values all that you are. Keep in mind that once you start off making the right choices, this pattern will continue throughout your life.

Of course, things are not going to always be easy when entering relationships, but a healthy relationship should never inflict pain on your heart.

So Babygirlz, what age do you think a girl should begin dating? What are the things that you look for in a guy? Let us know in the comments below.

I know this was meant to be read and answered by young ladies .… but, my two cents anyways, I think once a young lady reaches a certain level of maturity and responsibility that she will be prepared for the dating scene. Basically, when she’s twenty-one years old.

By this time she will have passed the Nicki Minaj stage.
